Tim Easton

Tim Easton recently moved from Joshua Tree, CA to Nashville, TN. It has more to do with the fact that he is a brand new father than climbing rungs in a career, but it also doesn't hurt to live in the town where he made several of his albums for New West Records, including his first album, SPECIAL 20.
His sound is the sound of a well traveled troubadour. One who played the streets of Europe for 7 years before returning to his home state of Ohio to start a band and make a stab at it. He conveys the knowledge of all music, old and new, and an instinct to keep on exploring. Tim has been backed by American greats Wilco, and continues down a similar path of re-invention while always keeping true to his roots in folk and rock and roll music.
New West Records will release a BEST OF collection later in 2012.
