Shoulders of Giants
Shoulders of Giants are an acoustic guitar based act from New York City. The band is the brainchild of acoustic guitarist/singer/songwriter Brad Hammonds. Having gained a reputation as a performer, both solo and as part of his duo Brazz Tree, “Shoulders of Giants” sees Hammonds team up with New York based vocalist, guitarist Tom Crowley. ....Their debut album will be released in April of '10 following Hammonds solo album "through it all" which has received great reviews as well as radio airplay across the country.
Hammonds, while performing with his duo Brazz Tree has earned the band a devoted fan base by playing hundreds of shows throughout the country for the past three years, including venues such as the The Blue Note, The Symphony Space, The
Living Room, Joes' Pub, The Whitney Museum, Rockwood Music Hall and BAM Café. He has also played the Electric stage at The South by SouthWest festival in Texas and was voted one of WNYC's Sound Check best live performances
of 2007.
