Sarah Roberts

Sarah's sound is a blend of indie and roots music with an acoustic guitar and an intimate flying voice.

Born and raised in North Carolina, music and writing have always been the roots in Sarah's life that continue to ground her today.

She sings of loss and life, joy and solitude, renewal and searching. Her powerful lyricism celebrates roots origins in an urban life and reifies the imagination through song. Her recent album, Ladybirds, has meditative musings (Dublin, Ladybirds, Rough Stone), and explores the world outside with its human frailty (Return Return, Two, Blip). Sarah crafts these songs with a sound and identity that is uniquely her own.

Sarah currently lives in Tempe, Arizona.
