Rachel Griffin

Six months ago Rachel Griffin, a small town Maine native, packed a suitcase with all her belongings and boarded a Greyhound bus to pursue her dream of becoming singer/songwriter in the New York City. While in Maine Rachel gained the attention of veteran singer/songwriter Bruce Hornsby who said. "She's really got it," was selected as one of the winners of the 2009 historic National Public Radio songwriting contest, and created a dedicated following both statewide and online.
Her firey stage presence, prolific songwriting skills, and dynamic energy are hard for anyone to ignore.
