Virginian guitarist-vocalist, Paul Curreri grew up playing music, but enrolled at the Rhode Island School of Design to pursue painting and film. However, by the time Curreri graduated, he had composed more than 200 songs. He declined an offer to work for MTV to further pursue his musical craft. Over the 6 years that followed, Paul composed, recorded and released five albums. Mojo Magazine gives his latest, Velvet Rut, five stars, acclaiming Paul Curreri “Virginia’s best kept secret”, and Acoustic Guitar Magazine praises his “original imagery” and dynamic finger-style guitar work.
