The NowherenNauts: Voyagers from Nowhere- “They come from a place that seems like it doesn't exist, but when you listen to their music, get ready to go there.”

The NowhereNauts are a core trio of songwriters and musicians based in New York City. The band members began their musical journey in their early teens playing many of the city’s well known music venues, which served them well in gaining confidence and the respect of industry veterans.

In early 2008, under the careful watch of Kevin March (Guided By Voices, Shudder to Think and The Dambuilders), the three joined forces to hone their craft with a mission to bring creative songwriting, powerful vocals and pure musicianship to their audiences.

Their live performances have been called “energetic” and the arrangements “adventurous”. Sofie Kapur delivers lead vocals with a depth and resonance beyond her years. Hunter Lombard’s guitar virtuosity is truly “ferocious”, and the backdrops set by Anders Kapur on bass are “alternately jagged and breezy”. The NowhereNauts live shows are captivating and appealing to a wide audience. Their latest studio work continues to show their evolution as artists committed to their craft.
