Meg Braun

Meg Braun is a singer/songwriter in the truest sense of the word. Blessed with both a voice that projects strength and sweet vulnerability, plus a gift for lyrical melody, Meg's songs draw listeners in with universally appealing, yet deeply personal, tales of love, loss, transformation, and joy. Born and raised in Ohio, Meg came to New York City in 1995 to pursue a career in nonprofit advocacy, but soon found herself drawn back to her first love, folk music. Within a few years, she became a fixture on the downtown NYC scene, writing and performing original songs inspired by the artists she loved growing up – Simon & Garfunkel, Indigo Girls, Shawn Colvin and Sheryl Crow.
