Loopsy Dazy

Based out of Toronto, Canada, Loopsy Dazy is a Live Acoustic Electronica Jam Collective with a rotating and ever evolving roster of musicians led by Mikey Dorje. Utilizing both acoustic and electronic instruments and a variety of live-looping techniques, their fresh sound is captured in their live performances all without using pre-made audio or midi loops/bedtracks. Depending on the gig, Loopsy Dazy will bring a duo, a full band combo of various players or Mikey will do a solo performance.

Mikey Dorje is an accomplished musician and producer who's productions have charted on CMJ Radio, iTunes and Beatport among others.

It's been a very short 5 months since the launch of Loopsy Dazy and the response so far has been incredible. The group has uploaded a handful of free MP3 downloads, some videos and have played a number of shows - all to great reception. One recent development is the exciting news that they will be remixing a track from BT's (Brian Transeau's) Grammy nominated album These Hopeful Machines for possible inclusion in an upcoming BT box set.
