Jon Sandler and The Fancy Band

Jon Sandler and The Fancy Band is having a great year. They recently recorded a new EP titled “The Fancy Band” produced by Eric Zeiler (Xylos), signed with super duper records, and in August opened for Jimmy Buffett at the Nikon Theater at Jones Beach. With a soulful voice and dynamic songwriting, Jon’s style has been compared to a combination of John Lennon, Jason Mraz, Elton John and Ben Folds. His unique style has been heard throughout the New York City scene over the past four years where he has played over 150 shows at important venues such as Rockwood Music Hall (Stages 1 and 2), Mercury Lounge, Knitting Factory, Pianos, Arlene’s Grocery, Kenny's Castaways, Don Hills, Southpaw, and two sold out shows at the Triad Theater. Jon is currently writing original music for film and television projects, including a feature documentary and a theme song for a new television pilot.
