After playing with the band Elroy for several years in NYC, Jesse began his journey as a solo artist, a journey that began in Philadelphia and has taken him from NYC to Sweden and now out to sunny San Diego. In his songs you can hear the influence of a childhood filled with Willie Nelson, Elvis and Motown, a hint of his admiration for the melodic genius of U2, the Beatles, Ryan Adams, Pearl Jam, Tom Petty and Radiohead and his love for the simplicity and absolute perfection of the hopeful melancholy honesty of old-school soul.
