Halle Petro

Halle Petro has performed in and around NYC since 2000. She formed The Jilt in 2009 after writing lyrics and music, and further developing music with collaborator and pianist Karen Dryer. This unprecedented sound draws from blues, folk, rock and jazz, pulled together by Petro’s powerful vocal presence. The dynamic band members hail from Nashville, classical, and Broadway influences - and a whole 'lotta heart. Halle Petro & The Jilt are currently working on their debut album, due out this spring.
