The Five Deadly Venoms have quickly and rightfully earned a reputation at the top of New York City’s vibrant bluegrass scene. The band is comprised of first-call instrumentalists and award-winning pickers who have come together to carve a fresh, exciting and unique vision of American acoustic and Bluegrass music with a sound that is soulful and sincere, adventurous with respect for tradition, playful and serious all at the same time. The Five Deadly Venoms is now hard at work on their debut album, which is scheduled to be completed in September 2008. The album will showcase the groups impressive vocal talent and serious musicality that their fans love and come out to see time and time again. In an effort to share their original compositions with bluegrass fans worldwide The Five Deadly Venoms were featured on XM Satellite Radio's "The Loft" in the spring of 2008 as well as appearing on WKCR's 'Honky Tonkin".
