Brett has been inspiring audiences since the age of four when he first played at Carnegie Hall for the President of the United States....hahahaha that's a complete lie.
I'm a singer-songwriter and I live in Brooklyn. I've been writing songs for a while and finally got a handful of them recorded and onto a CD to share a little bit of myself with anyone who wants to listen.
I'm originally from Syracuse, NY where I grew up playing the bass and singing. I picked up a guitar in high school and started writing a few songs here and there. What I found was an outlet to write out my experiences and get some of my emotions out of my head.
After a few years in Boston playing in various bands, mostly on the bass, I decided to take my chances in NYC. So far I've met a lot of great people and have been playing out as much as possible.
Lost and Found marks a transitional time in my life. It takes you through the first years after college in the real world where I was, at times, completely lost, through relationships, feelings, experiences with people, and then finally to the place where I began to figure a few things out about myself. All in all, the lyrics are pretty intimate and hopefully relatable.
"Don't ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go do it. Because the world needs people who have come alive." - Howard Thurman.
This is what makes me comes alive. I hope that it touches you in some way. If it does, and you feel the urge, pass it on.
Just me, my guitar, and a little beat boxing to make you move.
