From Birdland in New York City to The Hotel Café in Hollywood, Bobby Syvarth straddles the musical worlds of Jazz and Pop effortlessly. Having shared the stage and opened concerts for such seminal artists as Jazz innovator Stanley Jordan and Woodstock Folk-Rock icon Richie Havens, Bobby has illustrated a tremendous breadth and versatility as a live performer.
Bobby is an innovative acoustic guitarist, and has achieved a singular sound of his own. Bobby has worked as a sideman for many artists, most notably performing alongside multi-platinum, grammy winner Marc Anthony at a special unplugged performance at the United Nations in Manhattan. Bobby is a proud member of the C.F. Martin & Company Guitar “family” having spent time as a luthier, building and inspecting Martin Guitars that are acknowledged to be the finest in the world! Bobby continues his association with Martin Guitars as a regular clinician at the annual NAMM shows in Anaheim, CA as well as at various festivals and live events around the United States and Canada.

First and foremost, Bobby is a singer-songwriter. In 2007 Bobby signed a recording deal with the newly formed indie label Unison Music. The project prompted Bobby to relocate from New York to Los Angeles to live, breathe, eat and sleep music at the labels West Hollywood based studio. “Hellos and Goodbyes”, Bobby’s debut record on Unison Music is set for release early in 2009.
