Forever I have loved to sing. For myself. for imaginary friends. for real people. I decided not too many years back that I wanted to write my own songs. usually thoughts come to me in the most arbitary of times. I try to write it down no matter the hour or place. I relied on a guitar to help me sing these new songs for the masses. A coffeehouse is the cliche place I first sang of hopes, fears and confusion of everything. From there I sang songs as back up for art, background at bars, bonfires, found new friends, inspirations. I found folk music, lots of it. found my home. Forever I hope to sing. I moved to Chicago in the spring of 2007. After 4 months of singing at open mics around Wicker Park, I made a friend. That friend introduced me to Jim Tullio. Jim gave me the chance I thought would be pretty nice and lucky to have making this move..not knowing if it could really happen. With Jim and his greatness, I recorded my first ep, "All Songs in English." 5 of my own songs quite nicely polished. find me on itunes. I am back in my native Ohio. playing a lot with a group of friends. I call them my band. we are still searching for a name. for now they are "my band" not "the band." contrary to what you may be thinking, I am not still in high school. I am in my twenties and hoping someday soon I can do this music thing for good. forever.
