Alan Hampton

Alan Hampton will bring his band to The Living Room on New York’s Lower East Side every Tuesday this September. The band will be performing material from Alan’s Spring release, “The Moving Sidewalk”, as well as new material from his upcoming solo EP to be released later in the Fall.

Since Alan Hampton’s leap from sideman to solo artist, Hampton has gained notoriety as a singer and a songwriter, appearing as a guest artist and collaborating on several upcoming projects. His debut record, “The Moving Sidewalk”, effortlessly showcases his level of musicality and tasteful approach to writing songs. The ten carefully constructed tracks are intricate hybrids of genres and influences, ranging from Paul Simon to Wayne Shorter to the The Band. His talent is a welcomed combination of applied education and pure natural ability grabbing world-wide appeal.
